There is an understandable tendency for people to buy cheap mass market light fittings.
However it should be remembered that this often a false economy, because the cost of running your lighting is often made much higher by this initial choice.
Since light has more impact on the appearance of your home than any almost other element, it is probably not sensible to compromise it with cheap fittings, which usually look exactly what they are.
